Pad Net Testing
Non invasive vascular testing of lower extremities, also known as Pad Net testing is available at RIFC offices and is typically insurance covered. This forty-five minute examination, occasionally with an exercise component, is utilized in the evaluation and diagnosis of peripheral arterial disease (PAD). It is commonly the first evaluative measure in the work up of patients with subjective complaints of rest pain (nighttime foot and leg cramps), and intermittent claudication (foot and leg cramps during and after prolonged walking). It is also ordered for patients with clinical evidence of poor circulation, and many diabetic patients.
