Rhode Island Foot Care is proud to give back…
For many years, our group has lived up to the challenges of giving back to the community and prides itself on our contributions to various local agencies and organizations. Each physician has spent an inordinate amount of time by volunteering, educating and lecturing to support various causes. These experiences have been deeply fulfilling for the group.
Our staff and physicians feel that the medical treatment of patients is based on a comprehensive approach to wellness. This means, for Rhode Island Foot Care, actively giving back to the community along with treating the patient as an individual. Because of our commitment to this mission, the relationship between the patient and the programs that support them is strengthened.
Recently, this fall, the group sponsored the Gloria Gemma Foundation at the 5K road race/walk downtown. This was a memorable and magical day for our group as well as the cause. Earlier this past year, the group sponsored a table at the Miriam Gala to support the completion of the new wing designated for patients with cancer. The Gala was also extremely success as it raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of this specialty expansion.
Other events and charitable donations include the following:
- CASA Organization
- Make A Wish Foundation
- American Heart Association
- International Rett’s Syndrome Foundation
- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
Just as we have grown as a group, it is our commitment to continue to support various causes and assist them in their growth. Ultimately, this benefits our patients and our communities.
